Senator’s resolution recognizes and commends the dedication of public servants

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Senate passed Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s bipartisan resolution recognizing the dedication of public servants.

The bipartisan resolution applauded public servants – including Arizona servicemembers and government employees – for their contributions to Arizona and the entire country.

“Arizona’s public servants protect our borders, deliver resources to Arizonans, care for our veterans, and serve in our military. We’re grateful for their service and proud to honor their dedication,” said Sinema.

This year, Public Service Recognition Week was observed during May 7-13.

Sinema’s bipartisan resolution honored employees of the federal, state and local governments, and members of the uniformed services. The resolution saluted these employees and members of the uniformed services for their consistent dedication to public service, called upon a new generation to consider a career in public service, encouraged efforts to promote public service careers at every level of government, and supported efforts to promote an efficient and effective public service that serves the people of the United States.
