Member of Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council Inducted to the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame

Senator’s office nominated Steve Weintraub – who serves on Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council – for his service to Arizona’s veteran community

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema announced that Arizona veteran Steve Weintraub – a member of Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council – was inducted to the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame. 
 
“Steve has been a trusted, invaluable member of my Veterans Advisory Council since 2016, and has dedicated his career after leaving the Marine Corps to mentoring, supporting, and empowering veterans across our state. I’m incredibly proud to see such a deserving civil servant receive this honor,” said Sinema. 
 
Sinema’s office nominated Steve Weintraub, who served in the United States Marine Corps, to the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame for his service to Arizona’s veteran community and the entire nation. Weintraub has served on Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council since 2016, engaging in community outreach and planning events for student servicemembers and veterans. Weintraub also serves on Sinema’s Service Academy Nomination Board and plays a key role interviewing and nominating the next generation of Arizona servicemembers to U.S. service academies.
 
The Senator’s Veterans Advisory Council was formed to seek feedback from Arizona veterans with backgrounds in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines to best support Arizona’s veterans community.
