Sinema spoke with Arizona Fraternal Order of Police to discuss keeping Arizona safe and secure and strengthening benefits for public service
WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema hosted a call with the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police on Wednesday to discuss the importance of keeping Arizona communities safe and secure.
“Arizona police officers and law enforcement put their lives on the line to keep us safe and secure. I’m grateful for the opportunity to speak directly with law enforcement officials to ensure they have the resources necessary to do their jobs safely and protect Arizonans, and how we can strengthen retirement benefits associated with their service,” said Sinema.
Sinema’s call with the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police comes as a deadly shooting in Phoenix killed two civilians and wounded nine Phoenix police officers on Friday morning. Sinema pledged to continue supporting and partnering with local law enforcement to ensure Arizona communities and officers are protected.
The Arizona Fraternal Order of Police represents thousands of Arizona law enforcement professionals and was established as a voice for those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving Arizona communities.
