WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema met with Prescott Mayor Greg Mengarelli and discussed their work encouraging continued economic growth in Prescott.
“Mayor Mengarelli and I are working to expand job and business opportunities for the City of Prescott,” said Sinema.
Sinema recently applauded the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s decision to award the City of Prescott $244,622 for housing.
Sinema has also championed the bipartisan ATC Hiring Reform Act—legislation that benefits air control staffing by accelerating hiring and gives priority to veterans and graduates of certain specialized training schools, like Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott.
