WASHINGTON — Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema recently met with Colonel Patrick Donaldson, Commander of the Arizona Air National Guard’s 161st Air Refueling Wing and Goldwater Air National Guard Base.
“Our Airmen work tirelessly to keep Arizona safe and secure, and I am dedicated to providing them the support and resources they need. Colonel Davidson and I are working to expand Goldwater Air National Guard Base and support needed investments in the tanker program.” said Sinema.
The Senate last month approved Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s Sgt. Daniel Somers Network of Support Act along with a number of Arizona-specific defense priorities she secured in the annual defense bill. Those priorities included funding for Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Luke Air Force Base’s F-35 Program, and Davis Monthan Air Force Base’s A-10 Program.
