Senator’s bipartisan resolution designates May 5th – May 11th as Public Service Recognition Week

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Senate approved a bipartisan resolution from Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Senator James Lankford (Okla.) designating May 5th – May 11th Public Service Recognition Week. Sinema and Lankford lead the Regulatory Affairs and Federal Management Subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over the federal workforce, and their bipartisan resolution commends public servants — including government employees and members of the uniformed services — for their contributions to the United States.

“Arizona’s public servants care for our veterans, serve our country, protect our borders, and deliver critical services for all Arizonans. We owe them recognition and thanks,” said Sinema.
