Sinema discusses work to keep Fort Huachuca projects funded
 

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema today discussed her work to ensure the continued success and development of Fort Huachuca and the Sierra Vista area with local leaders.
 
“Fort Huachuca plays a critical role in keeping Americans safe and is vital to southern Arizona’s economy. We’re working alongside Huachuca 50 and leaders in Sierra Vista to protect and expand Fort Huachuca’s Army unmanned aircraft and electric warfare training and ensure Fort Huachuca projects have the funding they need for continued success and development,” said Sinema.
 
Today, Sinema spoke with COL (Ret) Larry Portouw, President of Huachuca 50, Rachel Gray, Mayor Pro Tempore of Sierra Vista, Chuck Potucek, Sierra Vista City Manager, and Dr. JD Rotweiler, President of Cochise College.
 
Fort Huachuca is the U.S. Army’s Intelligence Center of Excellence, producing top Army intelligence soldiers and officers.
