Senator partners with business leaders, works to expand economic opportunities

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema today spoke at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Annual Capital Markets Summit, addressing private and public sector leaders about her work in the U.S. Senate to cut red tape, fuel innovation, and maximize economic opportunities for Arizona.

“I’m proud to partner with leaders in business and finance to cut red tape, fuel innovation, and expand economic opportunities for Arizona,” said Sinema.

Sinema cited her successful work in the U.S. House, delaying the Health Insurance Tax (HIT) and cutting red tape for community banks and credit unions. Sinema also called for an end to harmful Washington policies hurting job growth, such as government shutdowns and the trade war.

Sinema will be leading the effort to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank so American businesses and manufacturers can continue to compete abroad. Sinema is also working across the aisle to cut red tape for startups and businesses conducting cutting-edge scientific and medical research.
