WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema met this week with Flagstaff Mayor Coral Evans and discussed their work to get things done for northern Arizona.
“Mayor Evans and I have worked for a long time on issues important to northern Arizona. I’m excited to continue our work standing up for veterans, improving our forest health, and strengthening local infrastructure,” said Sinema.
“The city of Flagstaff is grateful for Senator Sinema’s support on the Rio de Flag flood control project and we looking forward to working together,” said Mayor Coral Evans.
Sinema is cosponsoring the Flagstaff Reversionary Relief Act which lifts federal restrictions off privately owned land to allow for economic development in Flagstaff.
