WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema met with Arizona representatives from AIPAC in Washington, D.C. for the organization’s annual policy conference. Sinema participated in the conference and discussed strengthening America’s security and relationship with Israel.
“The bond between the United States and Israel is built on mutual respect for human rights, democracy, and freedom. I will continue working across the aisle to strengthen this alliance and ensure American support for Israel remains a nonpartisan priority,” said Sinema.
Throughout her time in Congress, Sinema has consistently voted to strengthen America’s commitment to Israel, and ensure Israel is fully equipped to defend itself against its enemies. Sinema’s first vote as Arizona’s senior Senator was to vote for the Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act, affirming the friendship between America and Israel. In the U.S. House, Sinema voted to increase pressure on Iran to counter the threat it poses to Israel and the United States.
