Arizona’s senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly announced over $2.2-million in federal funds to invest in Prescott’s drinking water infrastructure Monday.
Sinema said in a statement, “today’s investment will strengthen Prescott’s drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, boosting the safety and health of the community and supporting economic growth.”
Senator Kelly added, “It’s incredibly important that every Arizonan has access to clean drinking water. Prescott will greatly benefit from an investment in their water infrastructure that will serve the region for decades to come.”
The investment awards just over $1.6-million to the White House Ranch Owners Association and the remaining $640-thousand to the Pinehurst Water Company. This investment will be used to provide safe drinking water and replace and improve existing water distribution systems.
