WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema joined Republican Senator John Thune (S.D.) in introducing the bipartisan Personal Health Investment Today Act to help Arizonans save money and stay healthy. The bill allows individuals and families to use a portion of their money saved in pre-tax health savings or flexible spending accounts for qualified fitness expenses.
“Our bill gives Arizonans more control over their health savings and helps them save money and lead healthier lives,” said Sinema.
Sinema also recently introduced the RAISE Health Benefits Act, helping families save for future out-of-pocket health care costs not covered by insurance by increasing the amount of money Arizonans can save in tax-free flexible spending accounts.
