Senator cosponsored a bipartisan resolution recognizing October 2023 as Women’s Small Business Month

WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema cosponsored a bipartisan Senate resolution recognizing October 2023 as Women’s Small Business Month. The bipartisan resolution recognizes the growth of women-owned small businesses and celebrates their contributions to the economy.

“Women small business owners in Arizona are fiercely innovative – leading the charge in making Arizona the best place to live, open a small business, and thrive. We’re proud to celebrate their success this month and every month,” said Sinema.

Sinema – a champion for Arizona small businesses – focuses on advancing pro-growth policies that promote economic competitiveness and ensure small and mid-sized businesses have the resources needed to thrive.

In July, Sinema held a roundtable with female small business owners to discuss economic opportunities and challenges facing their businesses – including workforce needs, applying for business loans, and recovering economically from the pandemic.
