WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema today spoke at a Senate Banking Committee hearing on the importance of a long-term reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank for Arizona businesses. Sinema is leading the effort to build a bipartisan coalition in support of renewing the Bank.
“The Export-Import Bank levels the playing field for Arizona businesses, supports good jobs for hardworking families, and strengthens Arizona’s economy,” said Sinema.
Sinema is leading the effort to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank so Arizona businesses and manufacturers can continue to compete and succeed abroad. The Export-Import Bank helped Arizona businesses finance $2 billion in exports over the last five years, creating good jobs in the state while closing the trade deficit with countries like China.
