Sinema, Kelly: $106 Million in Provider Relief Funds Headed to Arizona Health Care Providers

Jan 12, 2022

WASHINGTON – Arizona Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly announced over $106 million in Provider Relief Funds for Arizona health care providers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The resources were provided through coronavirus relief legislation that Sinema and Kelly shaped and helped pass into law.

“Fully recovering from the coronavirus pandemic requires a strong health care response, and today’s resources will bolster and support health care providers treating sick Arizonans,” said Sinema.

“Since day one, my focus has been getting Arizona the resources needed to recover from this pandemic. Our health care providers are stretched thin and this funding will help them continue to care for Arizonans and battle this pandemic,” said Kelly.

Totaling $106,137,292, these Provider Relief Funds will support health care providers who experienced revenue losses and expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration will release these funds to 1,021 health care providers in Arizona.
