WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema recently met with Arizona Bureau of Land Management (BLM) leaders to discuss Arizona’s natural resources and land management priorities.
Sinema and Arizona’s BLM leaders discussed the bipartisan public lands package that she championed earlier this year, which was successfully signed into law on March 12, 2019.
“I will continue to work across the aisle and with local stakeholders to ensure Arizona’s public lands are protected and find ways to spur job creation in rural Arizona,” said Sinema.
The bipartisan package included a number of provisions that increase opportunities across Arizona. Sinema is now focused on ensuring the provisions are properly implemented.
