WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema today announced Michael Brownlie as her new Chief of Staff. Sinema’s outgoing Chief of Staff, Meg Joseph, has accepted a new position in the private sector following 15 years working in the House and Senate and 8 years working for Sinema.
Brownlie has served as Sinema’s Legislative Director since her first term in the U.S. House and has been her Deputy Chief of Staff since 2015.
“Meg has been an invaluable part of my team helping lead our political and policy operations through two terms in the House, our successful Senate campaign, and an incredibly effective four years in the Senate. We will miss her leadership in our office, and we wish her continued success in her new role,” said Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
“I am so grateful to Kyrsten for the incredible opportunity I have had to serve with her and promote her work delivering lasting solutions for Arizona,” said Joseph. “I look forward to applying the lessons I’ve learned from Kyrsten’s bipartisan leadership, years of working for moderate Democrats, and the Sinema office’s focus on collaboration to my work in my new role and as I continue to support her work for Arizona.”
