WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema released a statement following the announcement of a bipartisan COVID-19 relief proposal.
“Coronavirus cases across Arizona are spiking and Arizonans need relief now. Today’s bipartisan proposal is an important step to break through partisan gridlock and deliver critical support to Arizonans. More will be needed to defeat the virus and ensure a strong economic recovery—including increased resources for small cities and towns, extended unemployment insurance, and targeted relief for employers like local restaurants. I will continue working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to achieve these goals.”
