WASHINGTON – Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema released the following statement:
“Lives are at stake, Arizona. We need to take action now. Today’s policy changes are steps in the right direction, and I am proud of mayors across Arizona who demonstrated leadership and protected Arizonans’ lives by requiring masks. Our public health leaders agree: if Arizona implements widespread testing and tracks infections – and if Arizonans wear masks, keep six feet from others, and stay home as much as possible – we can slow the spread of coronavirus in Arizona.”
