WASHINGTON — Following her participation in a bicameral briefing with the Treasury Department and federal banking regulators, Arizona senior Senator Kyrsten Sinema, a member of the Senate Banking Committee, released the following statement:
“The joint actions taken by Secretary Yellen, Chair Powell, and Chairman Gruenberg make clear that depositors are protected and will have access to all of their money starting tomorrow, critical assurance to Arizona families and businesses. The federal government must now ensure those responsible are held accountable, while maintaining stability for all Americans who rely on our banking system.”
