TEMPE — Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema visited Tempe’s Four Peaks Brewing Company where she participated in Brew Across America. Brew Across America is an annual brewing competition where members of Congress brew their own beer at local breweries, and then bring the finished product to D.C. for a Capitol Hill-wide competition in the fall.
“Arizona breweries like Four Peaks Brewing create jobs, invest in communities across Arizona, and produce some of the best beer in the country,” said Sinema.
In both the House and Senate, Sinema cosponsored the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act of 2017, which lowers taxes for local breweries, helping small businesses expand operations and hire more Arizonans.
